VMS 5.5 ALL-IN-1 3.0
A user is creating a group from a mail message using the CGM option
(Create a group from a mail header) and there are remote addressees on
the message.
When he looks at the list of members of the group, the following
information appears:
Index of Members
(Selections: 0 ) Group: STEVES TEST GROUP (New messages: 0 )
No. Name Description
> 1 -Remote Addressee ( Steve Loat @ UVO )
Why does the hyphen appear at the beginning of the word 'Remote'? I've
used this group for sending mail messages, and it works okay, but the
customer was wondering if this would have any implications when using
groups for anything else (TM etc.)
Ideas?
Steve.

Hi,
It means that the user is not a full member. So sharing a drawer etc,
will not work with this user. Mailing to this user is about all you can
do.
Cheers
Stuart
