It appears that in V3.0 the File Text (FT) function still places the document
in [.MSG} as opposed to one of the DOCx directories. 

One of our customers has an application which utilizes this function with a
very high frequency.

Is there any way to work-around this problem and get the newly created
documents to be in the DOCx directories.

    The FT option calls the em_file_text script.  This script uses the
    MAIL FILE_BODY function.
    
    This function should be a good starting point.  You  can try to folder
    parameter.
