    Hi,
    
    One of my customer ask me the following question:
    
    He has a system with ALL-IN-1 2.3 :
    	- English (american) as primary language
    	- British  as secondary language
    
    He is going to upgrade to ALL-IN-1 3.0, but he only wants to keep the
    British Language .
    
    What is the easyest way to do this upgrade ?
    What about the license ?
    
    I don't have many experience in this languages and dialecte .

    There's no *supported* way to do this, however...
    
    The best plan is to make it into a single language system before the
    upgrade.
    
    Change the default language flag to "Y" in the British record in
    A1CONFIG (the form is in the MANAGER library), delete the English
    record.
    
    Redefine the OA$DEFAULT_LANGUAGE logical to BRITISH. Relink the image
    as a single language (British) system. Get rid of any exisiting OA$
    logicals, including the OA$ENGLISH table. Run A1V23START to redefine
    all the logicals.
    
    Delete (or preferably rename to somewhere else) all the English
    directories.
    
    Make sure everyone has BRITISH in their profile language fields.
    
    You might have to do something with spelling dictionaries.
    
    Do some thorough testing, to cover the things I forgot!!
    
    The "ALLIN1" licence will cover any single language system. The
    ALLIN1-UI-****" licence that you needed for British as a second
    language won't be needed anymore.

    Before you rename the English directories, make sure also to get rid of
    any modifications of ENGLISH modified elements in CM. Remove them from Live,
    Delete them, etc. 
    There will be ENGLISH records in CM_SDC_ELEMENTS.DAT, CM_FORM_LIBS.DAT,
    CM_LANGUAGE.DAT left. However, these are only records and are not
    directly related to directories and files. However. consider to delete
    them afterwards.
