    ALL-IN-1 3.0 blank mails created after deleting events.
    
    
    In TM select obsolete events (i.e. events in the past), do D or XD to 
    delete them.
    
    For any meetings for which the user concerned was the scheduler, a
    blank mail message gets created in the users CREATED folder with no
    subject or associated VMS file.
    
    My current theory is that time management starts along the path to send
    out
    cancellation notices, not realising that the event has passed.  It then
    twigs that the event is historical and stops with the process of
    creating
    the cancellation notice.  However, it does not tidy up behind it.
    
    So anyone who deletes events that they scheduled ends up with blank
    mail messages in their CREATED folder!

        The new function, CALENDAR MAIL_INIT, causes the partial message
        header to be created.  As you've discovered, this function gets
        called whether or not an event can actually be deleted.  The
        problem you've discovered has been SPR'd.
        
        To compound the situation, the new function, CALENDAR MAIL_DELETE,
        may not always delete the newly created mail partial message. 
        This problem has also been SPR'd.

I too had the same problem at customer's site. (One of many).

Engineering provided an individual customer patch called ICF#16 to solve this
problem.
