Hello and Greetings,
We have a customer running ALL-IN-1 V2.4, who has reported a "Problem" which
affects all his users when addressing remote nodes.
message is created and sent
from: user a node 1
to: user b node 2
cc: user c node 3
when message is replied to by user b on node 2, using reply to all, the
response is sent as follows
from: user b node 2
to: user a node 1
cc: user c node 3
cc: user b node 2
Customer is concerned not so much that the "responder" is receiving mail fom
himself, (which can be changed via MH prior to the send) but that he has gone
from being a "TO::" to a "CC::"
The customer believes that this is a problem. (Of course he's right, he's the
customer)
Any thoughts? (other than "it's a feature...") ;^)

EM ANSWER Puts the Reply Author in the CC List From Remote Mail
SOLUTION:
The problem you describe is a restriction in V2.2, V2.3, V2.4 and
V3.0 of ALL-IN-1. Your observations will be assessed for possible
inclusion in a future release of ALL-IN-1.
ALTERNATIVE:
When a mail (local or remote) is answered, if there is only one
addressee on the original message it is assumed to be you, so the
answer will ONLY go to the original sender. You will not even
be prompted whether to send the answer to "ALL" addressees since you
are the only one.
When you answer a message with more than 1 addressee, and choose to
answer to ALL addressees, all the addresses on the original mail are
read and placed on the carbon copy list. In the case of purely local
addresses, any that match OA$USER (i.e. the answerer) are removed, but
in the case of remote mail this removal is difficult because the remote
address of the answerer cannot easily be identified as being the current
user.
A MODIFY HEADER command (MH) can be used to remove the address from the
list before the mail is sent.
