Hi,
I have a customer who is using ALL-IN-1 V2.4 and VMS 5.5. He sent a
mail from his VAX terminal to a HP mail user. Although he sent his mail
at about 7 am the gateway log files show that the message reached the
gateway only at about 6 pm.
What I want to know is, other then checking the DOCDB.DAT files and
looking at EM SM (options in ALL-IN-1) what other files should I be
looking at in order to track the ALL-IN-1 message from the VAX terminal
to the gateway.
Thank you very much.
Best regards,
Vijay

Hello,
The Message Router ID of the message (EM SH) will
enable you to trace its journey after it left ALL-IN-1.
[MB$.MR.WRK]MR*.INF files
contain information about what happened. Check your
MAILBUS documentation for details.
Have fun,
Jan

Vijay,
You will also find a section entitled "Tracing a Remote Message in
ALL-IN-1" in Chapter 6 of the ALL-IN-1 Mail MAnagement Guide.
