A customer is having a poblem with invoking an application
which is tied into a multi-lingual ALL-IN-1 system through a
CMU file. It works fine with the English version but not when
the user is running the French version.
(Excuse my ignorance on multi-language systems but I haven't
had any experience with them before.)
The dummy profile record has "X400" in the MAIDES field which
causes X400.CMU to be called when "X400" is entered at the
TO: or CC: prompt.
When a French user types "X400" he gets the following error
message:
"user is on another node"
I've advised the customer to run a trace on both the English
and French version and see if they can tell what's going on.
In the meantime, does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Rick

I've just done a search through all the message files and .A1$MSG files
(which as you can tell means I'm checking against V3.0, which may not
be enough for you :-) ) for any message containing "node" and "user".
I couldn't find one....
Hence, I suggest a customisation must be in use here.
Your trace seems like a good idea. If you're still stuc, post a *VERY
SMALL* section of the trace here, or preferably a pointer.

Rick,
what version of ALL-IN-1? by a strange coincidence I now happen to have
a multilingual ALL-IN-1 v3.0 American English and French system and I
can't reproduce your problem since X400 works fine in both.
I'd definitely try ALLIN1/NOCUSTOM ... it's particularly strange that
you get an english error message.

Does the dummy profile entry have the NODE field filled in? It should be spaces. g | |||||
