The customer has a VAXserver 3100 and he is using ALL-IN-1 desktop.
After he registers a new account in ALL-IN-1 and send an electronic
message to this new user, he does a LOGON from the PC as the new
user and tries to read the message from ALL-IN-1 desktop. He gets
the message that there are no mail messages waiting to be read.
I already checked the user's profile in ALL-IN-1 and the Mail
Destination field contains "ALL-IN-1".
Any idea?

The user cannot send messages neither. When he sends a message he
gets no error, but the other user to whom he is sending mail never
receives it.
After sending ALL-IN-1 mail to the user, the utility A1SVC$MGR, with
the PC User Database Function Show User displays that the user has
1 message pending. However, a "Send and Receive Mail" from the PC
states that there are no inbound messages.
The A1SVC server is running in the host and the user has the A1SVC
directory structure.

I would suggest that this topic would be better discussed in the
ALL-IN-1 DESKtop conference on node ABBOTT where the experts are.
