Is metering meant to work with a co-existent system. I have a customer
that can get it working on the 2.4 half of the system but not on the
3.0 half.
the customer is using the following definitions
define/system/exec oa$met_meter_log sys$login:meter.log
define/sys/exec oa$met_meter_switch 3
and in the users process
define oa$met_meter_switch 2
but there is never a meter.log created. Is tghere anything else that
needs to be done.

You need to define the logicals (/EXEC) in the OA1$SHARE_TABLE.
