1213.0. "*WISH* Method of displaying patch level in ALL-IN-1" by GIDDAY::SETHI (Man from Downunder) Tue Aug 11 1992 02:12
    G'day,

Within ALL-IN-1 there is not a method of finding out what patch(s) have
been applied. The two methods that I can think of are :-)

    1. Set def oa$build_share, this directory contains a sub-directory
called A1PATCH$JOURNALS.DIR;1 which contains all the back up save
sets like for example K603FCVRUPD1_V24SHARE.BCK, suggesting that
       K603 has been installed.

    2. In OA$BUILD_SHARE a data file called A1PATCH$CONFIGURATION.DAT
contains the history of patches that have been installed. I can't
find any form that maps onto it.

Is it possible to enhance the <VERSION function so that it displays
patch levels ? In short is it possible to display the patch level of a
    system within ALL-IN-1 ?

Would make life a hell of a lot easier.

    Sunil

PS Which Fairy Godmother will make my wish come true :-)
