| | From STARS. The problem also occurs with " E" as the last two
        characters of the username. You might query engineering directly
        for more information.

        This problem is a restriction in the current version of ALL-IN-1
        V2.4 with ALL-IN-1 UPDATE V2.4 V2.0 (aka K603).  At present we can
        offer the following two workarounds.

        Either De-install K603 or, enclose the username in quotes when
        using the Set Owner option.

| 763.2 | Many thanks.... | CALLAO::MIC |  | Thu May 28 1992 16:23 | 6 |
|  |     	Hi Dave,

    Thanks for the very quick reply.
    The workaround you have proposed (quotes around the username) works
    pretty fine. I think this could be useful enough until next release
    (?).

| 763.4 | Still in V3.0 | UTRTSC::BOSMAN | We're just sugar mice in the rain | Fri Jul 03 1992 08:21 | 12 |
|  |     Hi,

    I tested this one on a V3.0 system and the problem is still there! The
    customer really wants a solution for this one. He has many accounts
    ending with " P" or " E".

    Should I SPR this, or is that already done.

    Regards,
    Sjaak.

    PS. I think this bug is one of the most exotic I saw in years.

| 763.6 | current situation ? | COMICS::BARHAM | Norbert: | Wed Aug 05 1992 11:35 | 19 |
|  |     Hello all,

    I have a major British customer for whom this bug is a severe problem.
    I do not see a fix for this in the list for a PFP and basically the
    problem is so severe for them that they cannot upgrade to v3 without a
    workaround.
    K603 introduced the problem on their development machine so I hope there
    is a customization to remove the problem rather than deinstall k603 ?
    Any ideas ?

    What I really need to know is whether this has actually been CLD'd and if
    so, what the number is and what the current situation is with this
    problem, i.e. do we know when it will be fixed? If it hasn't been CLD'd
    I'll do it post haste.

    Thanks in advance,

| 763.7 | good news, bad news | AIMTEC::ZANIEWSKI_D | Why would CSC specialists need training? | Wed Aug 05 1992 12:59 | 4 |
| | I believe there is a CSP for version 2.4 available. I've no word
        on version 3.0.

| | FYI, (better late than never)

    This is fixed in the first patch 3.0-1 (K701) I believe.
