    I have a trouble,

The system is a cluster with node a and b and has ALL-IN-1 2.4 on it. I
can access from my full privilleged account to the sm menu of ALL-IN-1.
So in the morning by (SM MMA E CSD) I created 30 new shared directories
and set the write window to see this new 30 new directories. In fact
write window now only sees these directories. I have done this on node
a and now eveybody who logs in from node b complaining that they can
not send mails. I checked on node b the logicals OA$SHAR* and saw
although the write window was defined the logicals for the new
directories were not created. Please help what should I do:

    1. Should I define/system these new logicals on node b?

    2. Should I run RSD

    3. Should I create 30 new directories on thei node after reducing the
    values of write window?

There must be an easy way to defien the logicals on node b?

    Best regards,

    Tansu

| Tansu,

After changing the window, a batchjob should have been submitted
to every node, defined by the MNQ option.

It looks like this this didn't happen.
Run A1V24START.COM on the node where the logicals are missing
(from a privileged account). After this the logicals are there
and you can take the time to see what went wrong.

    Good luck,

| Hi,

Perform the following steps on node b:

    $ ALLIN1 /NOINIT /OVERRIDE
      OA$FLO_OPEN_LIB OA$LIB:MANAGER
      OA$FLO_OPEN_LIB OA$LIB:ADMIN
      DO OA$LIB:OA$SM_DEFINE_SHARED_LOGICALS
    EXIT

| Ooops, note collision.

Also check the node specific batch queues, option MNQ in MMA.

    Regards, Sjaak.

| Thank you all,

Without your help I could not solve this problem.
On node b I get into ALL-IN-1 and typed MNQ and saw the queu for node b
was not defined. I created one for node b then from mma type e and
eww and typed the valued what I saw on left and it prompted me that two
jobs were submitted. So I can go to lunch.

    Lots of thanks again,

    Tansu YEGEN
