VMS 5.5 - ALL-IN-1 3.0 (123A) I create a group, grant group access to a drawer (causing various OA$Gxxx ACLs to be added to the files/ directories in the drawer). I then remove the group. ALL-IN-1 performs as I would expect and removes the group identifier from Rightslist, but leaves the ACLs on all the file with no translation (ie %X8001xxxxx). This is both sensible and practical. My question: Does anyone have a program/ suggestion on how to quickly scan files for ACLs with no translation in rightslist ? Thanks in advance, Ian Flack. PS. Is there a quick way to find out what groups another user is in ? I know Trace Group Membership (GS TG) will work for ME. I have used <NEWDIR ... TG in the past, but it don't work now - it still gives a list for ME ??

The %8001xxxxxx ACEs will go away the next time the access to that drawer is modified so ALL-IN-1 will repair itself, eventually. Terry | |||||

An enhancement to FCVR perchance - along with a few other ones that
were raised in the old Field Test conference???
Or has Andy already written it?
