Hi,

When I run TRM (test and repair mail areas) on my ALL-IN-1 V2.4 system, I 
get the following error from the managers file cabinet:

 Scanning User MANAGER's File Cab at 12:20 AM
 --------------------------------------------
 Error accessing record to/from a DAF.DAT error = ?Record/bucket locked 
 Terminating Program

A mail is send to the managers account saying that something went wrong. 
Any suggestions ?

That was also my best guess but I was the only one running on that 
installation at that time, and I didn't enter ALL-IN-1 . . .

Perhaps another utility did, I'll check it out,

    My guess is that you're not running the real V2.4 TRM. Have a look in
    the log file for what version it is reporting. You may have a hangover
    from a previous patch.

    As Stuart says, it's possible that you are picking up an older version.
    Do a $DIR/DATE OA$LIB:OA$SM_FCVR.EXE and check that the only version is
    in LIB_SHARE
