I did a NAM - Nominate as application manager - on a user
account. Surprise surprise error message.
I then set the user up as a System Manager by NAAing them -
Nominate as administrator - then granting them privilege and
OA$MANAGER id.
I do a NAM again and it moans...
- The account requires the following form libraries in the
Profile:
OA$LIB:ADMIN,OA$LIB:MANAGER
Why ?? Are these libraries not opened as I go into MGT/SM to
do my Manager functions on menu SM CSZ MA ? I must be missing
something !
I'm happy to do what it tells me, but why ?
Thanks in Advance,
Ian Flack.

| 258.1 | For Batch Jobs! | IOSG::PYE | Graham - ALL-IN-1 Sorcerer's Apprentice | Tue Mar 17 1992 16:02 | 5 |
It's so some of the batch jobs work, if you run them under your new
accounts, since some of the code doesn't remember to open the right
form libraries.

| 258.2 | What I found when doing this - FYI | AIMTEC::WICKS_A | Vote Bill'n'Opus for a weirder USA | Tue Mar 17 1992 16:47 | 15 |
Ian,
Almost all of these requirements are documented in the excellent chapter
4 of the ALL-IN-1 Management Guide (page 4-44) - but not all. The rest
are covered by the extremely detailed failure message you get.
Well all except one which i've QAR'd and that's the requirement to
have OA$MANAPP which isn't in either the document or the message
BL122D of course.
