    Houston, we have a problem...

When adding an entry in the ALL-IN-1 profile the DDS subscriber is not
set up correctly. The user is added without a complete O/R address and
the DDSID field in the user's profile is not set (either X.400 or
ALL-IN-1). If you run the OA$LIB:SUBSCRIBER_ADD script manually then it
does create a new good X.400 profile but still does not add the DDSID
field to either ALL-IN-1 or DDS profiles).

I recall having this or a similar problem at V2.4 but since I can't get
at the conference at the moment, I've resorted to entering it here.

    Regards and thanks in anticipation,
    ajb

| I don't know a lot about DDS, but I believe it can be set up to deferred (i.e. periodically in a batch job) updates. In that setup DDS does not return an ID to ALL-IN-1 and the DDSID in the profile never gets updated. The only solution is not to use deferred updates in DDS. Terry | |||||
