There are some customers interested in it
Thanks

| 3511.1 | DECforms will be provided on DECwindows. | IO::MCCARTNEY | James T. McCartney III - DTN 381-2244 ZK02-2/N24 | Wed Oct 24 1990 01:57 | 21 |
What we've been telling customers:
The DECforms group is committed to developing a native DECwindows
layout in the DECforms product. This layout would allow the IFDL form
designer the ability to produce forms which take advantage of many of
the DECwindows and OSF/Motif toolkit artifacts in addtion to the
already existing extensive field validation and dialog management
features of DECforms. Access to these capabilites would be via the
same application programming interface provided for the character cell
DECforms product shipping today.
We currently are in the final states of specifying the capabilites
which will eventually be included in this DECforms support, but do not
yet have schedules which we can publish to customers.
Additionally, many of these capabilities have been proposed by Digital
to the ISO/ANS FIMS committee for inclusion into the FIMS standard.
