This is an annoying nit, but every now and then I do have to use DECterm:
I've gone into the DECterm customize/General menu and put ISO Latin1 and
8-bit as my defaults and save them -- they're still there... but when I
log in and get a DECterm, my Latin1 characters are rubbish until I reset
the terminal.
