    	I got an interessting problem, but do not know where
    	I sould look for the solution.
    
    	The client has a selfwritten application software and
    	only at his SPX system the following happens.
    
    	The client starts the Staion ( decwindow ) then starts
    	the Software from an other Terminal over decw$display.
        The following messages do apear and then the Server
    	process stops.
    
    	XIO:Fatal IO Error 65535 on x server; vax7::0.0
    
    	after 175 request ( 174 known process) with 8 events remaining
    
    	%xlib-f-ioerror, xlibio error
    	%xlib-e-ioerror, xlibio error
    
    	Break on unhandled exception preceeding shre$decw$xlibshr+86045
    
    	
    
    	When the client restarts Decwindow the problem is gone til the
    	user logs out and in again.

Is this for V5.3-1, or is it V5.4 field test?

It sounds like a server bug.  You should file a QAR with all this info to make
sure it gets the visibility it deserves.
