Hi, I think that it would be very useful to have a dfs access point for this conference. I have found that conferences accessed through DFS/DNS have significantly faster access. Comments? Jeff.

| First of all, there is no DFS access to conferences. NOTES uses its own protocol for connecting to a remote server. There are DNS object names for some conferences. This provides a translation from DNS object name to node::file syntax, and from there, it's as if you had used the node::file syntax and there is no performance difference. The only advantage to a DNS name would be if the conference moved, your notebook would be updated automatically. Steve | |||||
