We're trying to install DECWindows on our 5400 which came with Ultrix already installed. Unfortunately, setld will not allow us to install DECWindows without also smashing our system for a full installation. How do we get around this problem?? Is there a way to override setld's default desires that we haven't found yet?? Thanks, John

| In asking the same question I've been told to read the release notes.
They mention a proceedure to create the necesary files that will
convince the UWS 2.[12] installation that ULTRIX 3.1 is actually
installed on the system. The setld installation will then not clobber
    existing base system files.

    Please check your documentation again.
