    I have a customer who runs a graphics intensive application and
    is experiencing 15 times degradation when he runs it on a color
    monitor as apposed to black and white. I know the details are
    vague, but I would welcome your knowledge of performance of color
    versus black and white. They are using X11 calls, not GKS.
