Does anyone know if ROOT.EXE can be run from a non-system account.
When I try to run it from a user account I get a message:-
$ mc root.exe
Command ? {enter HELP for HELP} help

I think what Andy is trying to say in a brief and succinct fashion is that you should do a SET DISPLAY/CREATE/NODE=nnnn before using root... (even tho you are only asking for help the program wants to make a connection to a decwinows client node) (If you get "no priv to access node" then use customise to change your security Ps I dont like all-in-1 | |||||
