|  |     It is possible to create Decterm windows from a program and position
    them with DECwTermPort routine.This program could then be put into
    your login.com.I don't know about repositioning on the fly.

and away you go.

There are various ways to position your windows at creation time, but there
is no supported way to reposition the window after creation (that's the
window manager's job).
