Women's Anger. I feel that this is a empowering tool for us to
change the way we live and realte to others.
My own personal feelings have been that when I let me anger work
for me I am able to change the course of my life and how people
deal with me.
Anger is a very strong emotion and a vital one to be use to effect
change.
I want to use my anger to effect change for me. My anger will motivate
me to change the injustices I feel as a woman.
It is necessary to allow our anger to surface and to be dealt with
and that then we can go on with our lives.

Anyone who angers you conquers you.
To be angry with a weak man is proof that you are not very strong
yourself.
When you see a married couple who's coming down the street, the one two
or three steps ahead is the one who's mad.
The man who cannot be angry at evil usually lacks enthusiasm for good.
Be strong enough to control your anger instead of letting it control
you.

| 312.3 | Anger = Strong Stuff | SADVS1::HIDALGO | Tue Nov 13 1990 19:22 | 18 | |
Anger. Very interesting stuff this. Having spent time and energy
attempting to ignore feelings of anger, I've come to the conclusion
that anger is a very healthy thing. It's just a STRONG negative
feeling. The best part of it is that it motivates one to examine
the causes and leads to CHANGE.
Being raised female, catholic and spanish, I learned that "girls
don't get angry", "anger = violence" and "anger = bad". But
that's not true. Women do get angrey, anger doesn't have to result
in violence and anger is not in and of itself bad.
Anger is just a feeling. Granted, a rather strong feeling, but still
just a feeling. The question is "What do you do with the Anger?"
Do you use it to LOOK at the situation, or do you use it as an excuse
to hit someone?
