| I'm a petite sized woman, too, and I've had GREAT luck at Marshall's.
This store has come a long way in the last few years, and they have
an excellent petite department. I've found some really great buys
on the same exact top quality name brand items that I've seen in
other, more expensive stores.

If it is not too far away, you might try Genesis Fashion on Rt 2A
in downtown Ayer. There are a couple of women who run the store.
They make a trip to New York to buy clothing every two weeks or
so, and a great deal of what they buy is in petite sizes. All the
dresses are one price - about $35 - except when they go on sale,
when they are lower than that. I like shopping there; the new
selection every two weeks is refreshing, and I appreciate being able to
choose from what I like without worrying about price tradeoffs. (Ie;
I like this one just a little better, but that one is $20 cheaper..)

Another store specializing in small sizes is 5-7-9. I've found
them in Boston, and larger malls like Pheasant Lane on the MA/NH
line, Burlington Mall, etc.
For years (until I had a baby) I wore a size 1 or 3, weighing 100
lbs. I still weigh the same but it shifted around a bit so it's
not quite as difficult for me to find clothes. But, if you can
find a 5-7-9 store near you, I highly recommend them.

| Marshall's does have a good selection of petite clothes and they
aren't that expensive either. Also I came across a new petite section
in Bradlees in Chelmsford Mall. I would think other Bradlees would
have this section also.
