    if you just want to open it up without adding it to your notebook,
    you can type
    	NOTES> open/nonotebook MOSAIC::WOMANNOTES-V1

    as .V1 instead of -V1

    off the topic, but I've always gotten a kick out of doing this from
    VMS and abbreviating to get the command:
    
    $no/nono <node>::<file>
