    not an OB/Gyn, but a warm, supportive holistic physician who could
    prolly make a useful referral.

| | I like Vivian Varese, too. She listens! She makes sure there is
    plenty of time during each visit to talk about whatever is going
    on. As a result, she sometimes makes connections between things
    I'd never thought of.

    She is an internist by trade, and she does all my ob/gyn stuff very
    competently and compassionately.

| | I don't know what their status is on the coast, but have you tried
    Planned Parenthood? I know that in Colorado, they have a pretty
    good referral system for GYN's who do sterilization, regardless
    of marital status and age.

| | Try Carl Bender -- he's affiliated with Emerson Hospital in Concord
    and did one for a friend of mine a couple of years ago. He lives
    in Acton but I don't know where his office is.

|  |     You might ask for Fallopian rings instead of cauterization;
    they have a better rate of reversal, and may make the doctor feel
    better.  :-}
