Welcome to the file. Unfortunately, I haven't heard of a "woman's
support group" at DEC. We, the =womannotes= moderators hope that you
feel free to use this forum to discuss the topics you've mentioned. In
fact, I suspect that some of them have already been discussed, so you
can add on to older topics or startup new ones.

Apropos your question and Liz's suggestion: could we --the women of
this community-- create such a group, do you think? If we were to try,
how should we organise it and what should we expect of it? Speaking
for myself, I'd be very in favor of having a go at it.

were possible to create such a group!
One approach would be to look at what other companies have done
in this are. Does anyone know of other companies who have put
together a women's support network that would could use as a model?
Someone mentioned that we have a network for women in management
at DEC. Is there someone here who is a member of that network who
could fill us in? Could we build on what is already in place; ie;
form a sister organization to the one that already exists?
I'm in favour of looking into this, Rita, we share a name *and* an
interest.
