| Generally, the store doesn't carry all the catalog items...
in Frederick's most recent catalog (sale), they list something
answering your description, called "Bed Boots"...they're around
$35 or something, but they're not for outside wear...
If you want more info I'm at LEZAH::BOBBITT
and can bring in the catalog tomorrow.

But I was specificly told Leather...not vinyl, Leather...

| I have Never seen boots like that made of leather...
but perhaps some leather place that makes shoes and boots will
customize a pair (could get expensive...but if it's that important,
love will find a way, eh?)

| i ask people who wear similar or far-out or interesting clothes. when i
go into a store and can't find what i want, i ask salespeople to give
me a few leads. also, isn't there a conference now for catalogs? that
might help too.

| The conference for catalogs is BARNUM::CATALOGS. Good places to look
for clothes catalogs are Vogue and Cosmopolitan magazines. They have
ads for catalogs you can order. Also check out Walden bookstores.
They have started selling catalogs alongside magazines.

You might try calling the Taurus Leather Shop in Maynard, I'm
not sure if they would carry this item, but being involved in
the leather trade, they might possibly point you in the
right direction.

She got them right before Christmas. Unfortunately she
moved to Tennessee. Will get in touch with her and let you

The store that has them is the WILD PAIR (should of known from the
name!)
They are located in downtown crossing about 4 doors up from the
Limited.
