Management styles....
In several human resource courses for management they discuss
management styles...
I do not have the material in my office but I think it goes
something like this...
Dictator
Teacher
Friend
Participator
There is a test published by McBer that analyzes your management
style through questions.
The courses view all styles as positive...after taking the course
and determining your style they analyze what type of working
environment is created by each style. For instance if a manager
is participative he may have a problem with time..as opposed to
the dictator who makes decisions individually.
I wonder if there are any statistics on management style by gender.
