Hi, I've just installed Windows NT 4.0 on a Celebris GL 6180. I encountered a problem with Network access. Before getting an IP address for my PC I want to access the network using NetBEUI protocol. The setting I used was : - select Network icon in Control Panel - select NetBEUI protocol in Protocols - choose the right adapter : DEC PCI Ethernet DC21142 Unfortunately there is always in the list an additional corrupted (?) adapter named : 1. Choosing Remove or Properties for this one leads to the error : An unexpected error has happened ... Operation cancelled ... By the way the network is unreachable from my PC. Any idea or tips ? Thanks in advance. Jean-Marc Bronoel. SISB Telecom.
