Thanks to engeneering for the new rail system what comes with the
new rackmount systems. This is a good example of our effort to
    improve our system quality.
The previous method was very poorly desiged and I wander how many
fingertips were cut off by sliding out the system.
    Anyway thanks for the improment
                                    Ben

I haven't seen the new rails...sounds like a great improvement.

Are they on ball-bearings, or what?

| Yes its like the tz857 rails or in the old days the ba11 unibus box.
On rails with ball-bearings and the nice thing is that the rails
are not connected to the 4100. This would be to heavy to lift him
in the rails. They have a plate between the rails and than you put
your 4100 at this plate and lock it with four scews. Nice
          Ben

| Today this mounting scheme is only available through CSS. We hope to make it more available. I agree it is nice....but it added $1000 to the price of the system. Dennis | |||||
