I have a recollection that on the recent DMCC/Takara training someone
said that Digital's Memory Channel couldn't work on DMCC. Not just "not
qualified", but "couldn't work".
A sub-contractor of an OEM has got themselves into a situation where
Memory Channel might help (they've been on the project for 6 months and
have just discovered a problemette, final acceptance is due in June).
Is it really the case that Memory Channel can't work with DMCC
(specifically, K2) or am I mis-remembering?
regards
john

The memory channel will NOT work on DMCC system with the version of
UNIX which is currently shipping.
I don't think I am allowed to say any more than that :-)

Ah, OK, it's software, not hardware. Should be easy to fix then,
shouldn't it <g>
