| | Hi Thomas,

It's Saturday and here I am at work waiting on co-worker to help train
on her new PC. Good questions! And from a seeking heart, no less!

    Thomas,

It has always been my impression that it is only through Pastoral
confidence that you can ever be happy at a church. People in the
church can fail you and cause discomfort, but you can usually get
through those failures. But when a Pastor fails you, usually folks
    move on.

It is my suggestion, dear Thomas, that you have a meeting with your
current pastor and talk about your unsettledness and ask for his
counsel, if you still believe this pastor is your pastor.

If you cannot speak with this pastor, then it is my suggestion that you
visit some churches and set up meetings with their pastor and discuss
your spiritual needs in a church.

No-one here can guide you to "a" church that will satisfy all your
needs, until you've defined all your needs and then interviewed
pastor's at church's you find desirable, but not convinced.

Seek inside of you for what you need, the go out and find.

    Nancy

question of which denomination, but which congregation.

| | hi ,

i live in Malden, Ma, Paul, Leslie. Nancy thanks for your input. I,
now, have left my former church and now investigating other churches. I
have felt that my fOrmer Pastor had only his view of doctrine and that
it was the only view that counted. I love the man and know there is an
anointing upon him and God is using him, where he is at with what he
    knows. thomas

Hello, Thomas. Just this afternoon, I asked James if he had heard from
you recently, and he said you didn't have access to IRC at the
moment... Was wondering how you were going. You would probably like our
    church, except that it's a little too far away : ) I like Nancy's
suggestion - interviewing the pastors. I'm pretty sure Harry did that
when he was church-searching, as well as attending each church for at
least four weeks in a row, to get a decent feel for it. We'll pray that
you find a new church family.
