The "10/40 Window" is an area between the 10 and 40 degree latitudes north of
the equator, in a belt stretching from Northwestern Africa eastwards across to
the Philippines and Japan. Most of the worlds unreached people groups line in
this area which contain:

- More that eight out of 10 of the world's poorest people

- 2.7 billion Muslims, Buddists and Hindus

- 95% of the world's least evangelised ethnic groups

- Many ethnic groups with few or no believers, nor any Christian movement among
them which could evanglise the whole group


Breakthroughs are needed in this region if we are to reach all nations with the
Gospel.

Praying through the window 2 in October 95 will focus prayer on the 10/40
window's 100 gateway cities. It is anticipated that over 30 million Christians
world-wide will particpate in this month of prayer.

Gateway cities are those whose transformation could have asignificant impact on
their countries and their peoples.

Each day through October 95 Praying through the window 2 has scheduled 4 gateway
cities to prayer for.
