    Why would anyone teach that these assumptions were blashphemous?
    
    God's plan did in fact depend on Mary's consent and she did in fact
    consent.  She trusted!  She was a woman of Faith!.  
    
    God's plan thoughout history has depended upon the will of those whom
    God has chosen.

the LORD Jesus Christ, moulding us into His image.

Just as Mary said 
    "I am the LORD's servant, may it be to me as you have said" 
in Luke 1:38, she also trusted that God's promise would be fulfilled,
receiving the blessing: 
    "Blessed is she who has believed that what the LORD has said to her 
     will be accomplished!" 
in Luke 1:45.

      Funny, when I saw the title my first thought was of Mary
      Magdelene and not Mary who gave birth to Jesus!

    	At that time in history, did the Jews have any concept of the
    	Trinity?  (Do they today?)  Wouldn't you think that Mary's
    	use of the term "Lord" simply meant another way to address God?

My first paragraph was meant to refer back to / follow on from Patricia's last:

Then in .2, I was only indicating Mary's complete submission to God.  I do
not see any other implication in the verses I quoted there.  I would not 
see them as representing a recognition of the trinity.
