Thank you .... while we have had prayers for digital included in the 
general prayer notes, it has not previously had a note to itself.  
Particularly at the current time, this is very appropriate.

My Father, we delight in all the blessings You have bestowed upon us, from 
the joy and pleasure of life itself, to the richest anticipation of Your 
presence....  We thank You for this place of fellowship, reaching out to 
brothers and sisters in the LORD whom we have never met, yet know in our 
hearts as those sharing in the blessed gift of eternal life.

We thank You for the company we work for, which supports this 
communication, and ask that it should not be without blessing also.  We 
ask that You enter in and be in the excecutive decisions made, that this 
may be a company which honours You, and so may receive honour and blessing 
in its material prosperity also.

May we, Your children, shine as lights for You here in digital, that You 
would enable us to represent You here faithfully to our fellow-workers.

    I pray for Digital and the employees who will be effected by the
    aquisition by Quantum of various pieces of the company. I currently
    work in CXO1 & 2 were this aquisition will effect most everyone. I know
    there was a meeting of the manufacturing folks (workerbees) yesterday
    where they were informed they have a choice, stay employed with Quantum
    or go find a job... There is no option to stay employed with Digital.
    We have another such meeting today at which will be some announcement
    as to what will happen to support folks currently supporting these
    buildings.
    
    Lord I pray for all employees faced with these difficult decisions. I
    know you are in control and you will reveal to each your plan as you
    see the need... Be with them as this time passes, that they will seek
    your guidance and wisdom... in Jesus name I pray.. AMEN
    

    You, LORD, give true peace to those who depend on you, because they
    trust you.
    So, trust the LORD always, because he is our Rock forever.

    I pray for the employees of Digital who have been affected by the
    present situation, that they make the right decisions in view to their
    employment. Please guide those who belong to you and give them the
    reassurance and peace that only you can bring.
    
    I ask that the decisions which will be made by the management will be
    done with wisdom, and that Digital can return to stability.
    
    In all things may your will be done.

    Heavenly Father,
                    These are trying times for employee's of Digital.
    We know that you are the God of all things and that everything is
    under your authority. You know the past, present and the future.
    There is nothing that is not known to you. There is no situation 
    that you can't handle, no need you can't meet, no problem you can't
    solve. All things work together for good, for those that love you.
    Even though we experience tribulation, we can be of good cheer...
    You have overcome the world. I ask that you would be with those
    in Digital that belong to you. Please comfort them so that they
    know that no matter the outcome of Digital...You will take care
    of them. I pray also for Digital, remove the blinders from the eyes
    of those in leadership, that they may see clearly to guide us. Most
    importantly though, please soften the hearts of those that do not
    know you and speak to them through those that do. Save as many as
    you will Lord, that your glory would shine to a dying world.
    May your will be done....In Jesus' precious name  Amen.

    I would like to request your prayers for my group here.  The atmosphere
    is abysmal (sp?) and rumors are running rampant.  We are treated
    as children and endentured servants.  It is really aweful.
    
    If the rumors actually are true, it is a big mistake and many
    families will be effected in a terrible way.
    
    I don't know what else to say, it's just aweful here,

    	At the same time, some of the rumors may turn out to be the better
    	thing for some (many) here.  I don't know what rumors Pam is
    	hearing, but I'd sure like the rumor that is currently concerning
    	me and others with me to turn out to be true!

           We sang this last nite (from Psalm 20:7) at our mid-week
           service: 

           SOME MAY TRUST IS HORSES,
           
           SOME MAY TRUST IN CHARIOTS,
           
           BUT WE WILL TRUST IN THE NAME OF OUR GOD.
           
           
           ...and what came to my mind was this...

                      
           SOME MAY TRUST IS SANDERS,
           
           SOME MAY TRUST IN DIGITAL,
           
           BUT WE WILL TRUST IN THE NAME OF OUR GOD.
           

           Oh Lord, it's clearer to see just where our trust lies when
           we're going through a trial.  I'm "at risk" of being TFSO'd
           after the end of this month, and alot of things look very
           different to me now.  I guess I really got comfortable here at
           Digital for the past 13 years.

Here's a thank-You from Your people at Digital! We prayed to You on behalf of 
our company, and we see Your hand in the recent encouraging financial results,
product announcements, press reports, etc.  Thank You for your blessings, 
And we ask You to bless those that have had to leave the company during these
tough times.

We Praise You Lord, for answering our prayers.
