1645.0. "Merrimack River Watershed Water Quality" by DONMAC::MACINTYRE (Terminal Angler) Tue Jul 09 1991 12:12
The Nashua Regional Planning Commission (NRPC), along with the Merrimack
River Watershed Council (MRWC), are setting up a volunteer monitoring pilot
program.
They have identified 23 sites along the Merrimack, Nashua and Souhegan
rivers where volunteers are needed to "collect water samples, to sample
aquatic life and to collect information on the visual and physical
characteristics of the rivers."
The sampling is planned to be done about 6 times during the remainder of the
year.
If you are interested in possibly becoming a volunteer monitor there will
be a meeting at the Merrimack Town Hall on Thursday, July 11, from 7 to 9pm.
For a little more info feel free to contact me - for more details you can
call the NRPC 883-0366 or the MRWC 1-800-422-6792.
