Does anybody have any experience with fishing the Scottsdale, AZ area?
We're planning a visit to Scottsdale at the end of December and I was
thinking of doing a little fishing. I was wondering if there are any
lakes around where I might be able to come up with a Jon boat for the
day. See I have this 11 year old neice that I introduce to fishing
about about 5 years ago and she's hooked. She thinks every time she
sees me, we're going fishing. I don't want to let her down. How's
that for an excuse?
She is also very lucky having hauled in a 10 lbs silver the first time
I took her salmon fishing.
Anyway, I'd be interested in species on the loose and types of tackle
required for success (quantity is more important than size).
Info on a fishing camp or boat rental would be the most I could ask
for.

I remember this time once in Royalston when I had this Indian
guide with me.... said he could tell direction by the way the
moss was growing on the deadfalls.
