| | re: moving the date

Well, before choosing that date I spoke with a few of the teams
that usually attend these prestigious events, and this is the date
we came up. Between our own club tournies, state finals, and yes,
even weddings (yes, folks, one of our fellow noters is about to
tie the knot - and I don't mean a palomar knot!)
                                                    .
Anyway, it's still a ways off. If it does turn out that the
-majority- of people interested request a different date, then
we'll look into it. But for now, we'll keep on this track and see
    what hapens.

We're looking good, we have a bunch of teams already. I'll post
the entry list on Friday and will update it (if necessary) once
    a week.

    Keep `em coming,

Didn't anyone notice that October 1st is also opening day for Grouse
    Timberdoodles and Wabbits in N.H.?!!

I was hoping to get in one of these tournies this year, but
I've already got reservations at Wander Inn on Back Lake, last three
days of trout fishing then three days of great bird hunting.

Oh well, there's always an icefishing tourny - isn't there??!!!

Thanks, Coonass, for the vote of confidence. We fully intend to give these
guys a real run for the money!
BTW...Fletcher and I were out last night at Stumpfield and we had one of the
BEST nights of the year. The weather was real windy, but died down, and the
air was nice and c-o-o-l! We nailed 11 bass between 6:30 and 8:00 P.M.,
mostly on buzz-baits. The largest was 4-5 lbs, and none were smaller than
1.5 lbs. The change in the weather apparently has made them real feisty as
they all took to the air. It was a great treat!

I have spoken to the famous RANGER RON and THE TEXICAN.
It looks as though yooze guys will have to contend with RR & the
    TEXICAN.

Best of luck to all and have a great time. Anyway if it looks like

>> PS- you bassahs- what are good methods for fall bass?
Doctah...
That's a leading question that could result in hundreds of replies with
everyone's own opinion. I would suggest sticking with the "basics,"
especially if you are a novice. It's really not necessary to have 5-6 rods
and two or three tackle boxes jammed with every conceivable combination of
lure sizes/color/weights. My suggestion would be to bring the following
"basic" baits:
	- rubber worms, 5-7", in green, motor oil, & purple colors
	  - slip weights, 1/16, 1/8, & 1/4 oz.
	  - 2/0 & 4/0 TruTurn worm hooks
	- spinnerbaits
	  - white, Colorado single-blade
	  - chatreause, Colorado double-blade
	- crankbaits
	  - #7 Rapala, silver, floating
	  - #7 Rapala, perch-pattern, floating
	  - Shad Rap, silver
	  - Mann's 20+ hog
	  - Rattle Trap
I'm sure a number of others will add their own "basics" to the list, but I
think the above baits will satisfy the majority of one's needs for most bass
fishing conditions.
FALL PATTERNS...
Again, everyone has their own ideas, but there are some basic strategies one
can use. A lot also has to do with the weather conditions. Hopefully, this
year's tourney WON'T be a repeat of last year's! What a blow-out! I'd
suggest reading the latest issues of BassMasters and In-Fisherman magazines
as they usually have good articles on fall bassin.
RE: Livewells
All you need is a cooler, the larger the better (gotta think positive, ya
know!) If you don't have a livewell airator, just be sure to change the
water periodically. It shouldn't be too much of a problem as I expect the
water will be much cooler by Oct. 1.
In any event, hope to see you there!

Bandit,
You're making my head swell! Thanks for the kind words.
RE: "willing to help others before (!!) the tourney."
I think I've said this before, but I'll say it again. Although I've managed
to stick a few feathers in my cap by winning a few tourneys, I still
consider myself somewhat of a novice. I find that one of the BEST ways of
learning is to ask questions of those who do well (and those that do well
are not always the Pros!), then go out and practice.
If someone is successful in a tourney, I'd like to know what baits he (or
she) was using, the structure they fished, and most importantly, WHY they
fished those particular patterns under the given conditions. And by
"pattern," I don't simply mean type of bait or color, but depth, speed of
retrieve, physical location fished, etc.
I can't fault someone for not being too willing to share much information
BEFORE a tourney as they formulate their strategies to WIN. One does not
want to divulge their potential secrets of success to a competitor,
especially if those techniques might be used against him in THAT tourney.
HOWEVER...AFTER the tourney is over, I strongly feel that revealing the
"winning ways" can only help to create greater competition (which only helps
you to do better) and is a tremendous learning experience for others. Even
if a tourney is held on the same waters at a later date (as we often do), it
is unlikely that the identical conditions will exist to dictate the identical
winning pattern(s).
As many of you that know me know, I ask a lot of questions after a tourney,
not just of the winners, but of those that did not do well. By knowing what
patterns did not produce plus those that did makes it much easier to
understand the rational for the "winning ways." I am also more than willing
to share my "secrets" with others after a tourney in hopes of either helping
others or in obtaining some constructive criticism.
Fishing is always a learning experience... you can never know enough! Just
when you think you've got it all down pat, Ole Bucketmouth goes and proves
you wrong!

| 843.61 | rule change - 4oz penalty for dead fish | DONMAC::MACINTYRE |  | Fri Sep 09 1988 10:12 | 26 |
| | Doctah,

There are already a number of canoes registered. The area by the
launch at Monomonac offers a fair amount of protection, and does have
fish, so canoes are by no means out of the running. As far as keeping
fish alive, just do the best you can. A cooler with a pump works
fine, without the pump just be sure to change your water often.
Adding Catch and Release solution to your livewell will also help.
    Stringers are not reccomended.

    Everyone,

The rules in .0 were taken directly from the last tournament and
state that there will be a lb (8oz) penalty for dead fish.

HSJ and I talked about this somewhat and decided to cut that in and
make it a 4oz penalty for dead fish.

The reason for this is that we do not want to have the non-livewell
equipped boats to have a major disadvantage. With the cool weather
that we will probably have, it should not be a problem to keep your
    catch alive.

    Remember rule #1, have fun,

    Don Mac

your boat in the water by 6:30.
I'll be sticking around the dock at the right side of the launch with a clip
board. Please see me asap to check in and pay your entry fee.
At 6:45 all boats with >= 5hp that are IN THE WATER may draw for starting
postion. After 6:45 each boat in the water will get the next starting
position available. If you have >= 5hp and would rather not draw for position,
you may "bring up the rear".
High powered boats - please use extreme caution during the start, remember
this is not the Classic. It's a casual tournament for fun, with many small
boats around.
Small boats - if you draw a low number starting postion and there's a 150hp
bass bustin' battle station behind ya, don't try and lead the way, please
bear to the right so that they may pass safely.
Ok, that's it for now. Keep those entries coming, Don Mac

5 places. There is an awlful lot of coin going into this one....so
far it's the largest tourney we have had, and I think that we should
try and stay away from getting to much money involved in these things.
DEC doesn't "like" Digital events to have prize money involved at
all......so, take this for whats it worth.....we are using company

| | Ron, I tend to agree with you. With the large turnout that is expected,
the pool could be spread out a little more. It appears that this one
will have enough participants to allow a 5 way split. (40/30/15/10/5)
You brought up a good point. The goal of these tournaments is to allow
us noters to get together, meet each other, and have a good time doing
one of the things that we enjoy most, fishing. We should not raise the
stakes so high that we lose sight of why we're holding these tournaments.
However, at this stage of the game, I'm hesitant to change the payoff
scheme, without knowing how the rest of the field feels. I'll extract
this note, along with yours, and mail it to each of the teams registered.

Team members, please send me some MAIL and let me know if you want a 5
place or 3 place payoff, we'll let the majority decide.
    Don Mac
PS: If we can continue to get this type of turnout in the future, I'd
like to propose the idea of holding benefit tournaments, where a
percentage of the total prize money, be it 5 or 50%, be donated to
a charitable organization. We could possibly even take advantage of
DEC's "matching gift" program. It doesn't take a five hundred or
thousand dollar prize pool to get me to fish. Just a thought...

Most of us weathered (pun) it out, but a few wimps cut out early.

| | re Donation to charity, and bragging rights

I think DonMac has a great idea with splitting the big turn-out
money pot with charity. I think a couple hundred dollars towards
the CCOD, Trout Unlimited, BASS etc. would be very much appropriate
considering how much we enjoy the sport, and the good that can come
out of such a donation (Since I can't enter this tourney I LOVE
to donate other people's money to charity ;^) ). After all,
The bragging rights will last a lot longer than the money... the
money would last about 2 weeks until you found the new rod you "Really
Need", but the bragging rights last at LEAST until the next touney.

Hell, HSJoe might make a career out of the Hopkinton tourney win..
If he wins the fall classic, we'll need a larger VAX for the fishing
conference so Joe's EGO can also fit !!! (Just kidding Joe, you
really did a good job on the tourney, AND was nice enough to share
the big secrets of your success, good luck next week)

But any how, If I should ever be so lucky to win one of these events
(I meant to say "SKILLED", not lucky) I would gladly accept a much
smaller prize in order to spend a help the environment even a little
bit. Just enough money to pay for the gas and Beer (that could
be expensive if we include the beer) costs for the day, and of course
    a year's worth of bragging rights !!

    Good luck to all,

    Well,

The most interesting thing I found about Monomanoc last Saturday
was that lovely rock pile in the middle of the lake!! Be Carefull!!

Also anyone interested in a pickerel pool??. After having 2 upwards
of 4lbs utterly destroy my spinnerbait, this could bring new
demension to the tourney, At least if your not fortunate to catch
a bass all day and accidently get one of those monster pickerel
that should be worth something to those entering the tourney via
    rule #1.
So, Anyone interested in a BIG Pickerel pool send Vaxmail to
CIMNET::DSULLIVAN. I was thinking of a $1 a man pool for this new
idea which with 22 teams would amount to $44 dollars to the winner.

Now, Don't bust my noodles about this. I am indeed a Bassmaster
and basically hate those stupid fish (pickerel) however, I just
thought it might keep those who are having a bad day in the fight
    for prize money.

| | It appears that most of the teams like the idea of the 5 way
payoff in order to allow a greater number of people to share
in the prizes. Based on the mail I recieved and talking to people,
here's what we're going to do:

	# Teams Payoffs
	------- ---------
	 2-5 1 - 100%
         6-10 2 - 60/40
         11-20 3 - 50/30/20
	 21+ 5 - 45/25/15/10/5

Note that we're talking about the actual number of teams
that show up, not how many that registered.

       Hawg Pool Payoff
       --------- ------
       $5 - $100 Heaviest bass takes it
       $105+ 50% for Hawg Largemouth
                        50% for Hawg Smallmouth
Note - if only one species of bass is caught, then it
will be distributed 60% to the largest bass and 40% to

| | Bob, that came as a result of the 'spread the money around' idea
that people want. AND we do not want the HAWG pool to be larger
that the 1st place pool, which it would be with a 45% 1st place
payoff (assuming everyone entered the pool). Do you want the Hawg
pool to be bigger than the 1st place prize? It was either change the
hawg pool payoff or change the hawg pool entry fees, and since
we were changing the other payoffs, we went with changing the hawg
payoffs as well. Yea, ok, it's in the unusual side, no big deal...

| | FINALLY! IT'S BACK FOR REAL!
For those of you that didn't catch Bassin Bob's reply in the conference this
AM on MSEE before it got write locked, once again, he's backed down!
Hey Bob, so what if you're getting married...I mean, let's get those
priorities straight!
I seem to recall another tourney that you were gonna wimp out on and only
after considerable humiliation did you finally show up.
Remember this...

| 843.138 | Official Rules | DONMAC::MACINTYRE | Fish are rising up like birds | Thu Sep 29 1988 13:39 | 60 |
| | Since we changed a couple of the rules (dead fish penalty and payoff scheme)
since the announcement of this tournament, I figured a recap is in order.

RULES:
1. HAVE FUN!
2. Violators of Rule #1 may be banned from all future events!
3. ONLY artificial lures allowed - NO live/dead bait allowed (excluding
     pork strips/frogs).
3. ONLY ONE line/person in the water at a time.
4. NO trolling.
5. "CATCH & RELEASE" policy in effect.
6. 50 Yard Rule - All boats must keep at least 50 yards distance from
     another boat's "territory". No crowding-in.
7. PAYOFFS -	# Teams Payoffs
		------- ---------
	 	2-5 1 - 100%
         	6-10 2 - 60/40
         	11-20 3 - 50/30/20
	 	21+ 5 - 45/25/15/10/5

Note that we're talking about the actual number of teams
that show up, not how many that registered.

       Hawg Pool Payoff
       --------- ------
       $5 - $100 Heaviest bass takes it
       $105+ 50% for Hawg Largemouth
                        50% for Hawg Smallmouth
Note - if only one species of bass is caught, then it
will be distributed 60% to the largest bass and 40% to
        the 2nd largest bass.

8. Starting time will be 7AM prompt from the marina. All powered boats
with motors > 5 HP will draw for starting positions. Canoes & boats
with < 5 HP will leave AFTER all powered boats depart to prevent
     potential swamping from their wakes.
9. Final weigh-in will be at 3:00 PM at the launch site for ALL. Given
that this event is an all-day affair, it should not be necessary to
grant additional time extensions for the smaller boats.
10. DEAD FISH AT WEIGH-IN - There will be an 2oz penalty for any dead
fish. Also there will be a 1 lbs penalty for short fish.

Note - HSJ (the weighmaster) and I decided that we'll measure
all fish. This way if you have fish that are real close to 12" but
your not sure, bring them up and we'll measure them, if they're short,
there will not be a penalty. (No 10 inchers please 8^)

11. See Rule #1!

| | Well I just went down to Zylars and picked up some rain gear,
hopefully I wont have to use it!! I was going through the TV channels
last night and caught Al Kaprilen on channel 50 (you know the guy
that goes nuts over the DEEW POINT!!) and he said that the rains
might not start until saturday afternoon so take it for what it's
    worth...

I just hope that the rains can hold off until we are out there
because I get the feeling alot of people will not even show up
if it's raining in the morning!

hope to see all of you people out there! Oh by the way the LEGEND
wants me to give Tom Coots a special message on saturday!

Latest weather reports now say tomorrow will be quite mild, up in the high

showers. NOTE: Monomonac + "slight breezes" = GALE FORCE WINDS & WHITECAPS!

| | It was a beautiful day and a it looked like a good time was had by
all (especially the worm's partner, Juan %*).

18 teams showed up, our biggest turnout yet. But Monomonac's bass
were not to cooperative. Out of a field of 36 anglers only 3 bass
    were weighed in.

There was a tie for first place. The team of Don Mac (yours truly)
and The Harbormaster, along with the team of Holeshot Joe and Fish
Factory Fletcher each weighed in a 2lb 14oz bass that was enough to
    put us in the money.

2nd place (or 3rd depending on how you look at it) was taken by
the team of Ranger Ron Scholz and The Texican, who weighed in a
    1lb 15oz bass.

I was glad to associate a few more names with faces.

See ya in the spring, or at the expo over the winter,

| | Yeah, it was a good time. The fish weren't too cooperative, but at least it
was a better showing than the spring event.
Chris and I decided that we'd stick with Plan "A" and forget about Plan "B"
or "C". Obviously, Plan "A" worked out fine!
What was Plan "A" you ask? It was simple...
	"Winning isn't everything...

		but losing SURE SUCKS!"
Sooo...with that in mind, we headed off into the fog and proceeded to have a
good time!
Once again, it was great seeing all you guys and putting faces to the names.
Unfortunately, there were a couple of people there that may have a tough
time even remembering that they went fishing (YO, WORM...how's your partner
doing??)

Bart had one or two. Bart also caught a bass !!! Too bad it was
    smaller than my perch.

So that was Juan Corazon that couldn't find his "land-legs", huh?

Y'know, I saw a lot of faces but didn't get enough of a chance to
find the names that belonged to them. Next time let's take a mid-day
break on shore for a little social intercourse. I'd like to meet

And, reading the list of participants, I assume that was Jeff and

| 843.156 | lets try Pawtuckaway or hopkington next time... | ROSBUD::LEVESQUE |  | Mon Oct 03 1988 10:58 | 33 |
| | Well now. The Doctah is well aware that these guys put the wood
to us. They didn't catch any bass in Monomonac (indian word meaning
"Never have a fishing tourney here"). They were already in the
livewells before they left the dock!!!! :-)

But seriously- to fish all day in the weather and water conditions we
fished and not catch anything means that there is something wrong
with the lake. We fished top water, middle water and bottom. In
the coves, and out in the open water and caught no bass. Must not
be any bass there. Seriously. I have better luck fishing in a pond
that's no bigger than a football field (if that big). Fishing for
2 hours there would have given me more than enough fish to take
the tournament. A serious change in venue is needed.

And another thing. At the beginning (or end) of the tourney, we
need to get together and introduce ourselves to each other. I only
met a few of you guys. I don't know if name tags are needed, but
I would have liked to know to whom I was speaking more often.

Nice partner 'worm. He was pretty funny. Consonant pronunciation
was a problem, as was equilibrium, but he obviously had a good time.

I had fun too, but I think it would be alot more fun if everybody
had some fish. In a place like this, where we were all fishing in
pretty much the same way, the people who actually caught the fish
were more lucky than anything. I mean, we all know how to fish,
and it wasn't that you guys were doing anything different than we
were; you just happened to go to the spots where the three bass
    in the lake lived.

At least we had a nice day.

The lake *is* a tough lake to fish. The ONLY reason we have our

both NH and Mass fishing licenses and boat registrations are ok.

This was our 3rd or 4th tournament on Monomonac, nobody *likes*
the lake, but it's location keeps us coming back. But regardless, I
for one would also like to see if we can come with someplace else
    for the spring tourny.

And, yes, we even had witnesses for our catch (even though we tried
real hard not to let them see 8^). We got our bass in a grassy
area by an incoming creek channel on the n/w side of the lake, on
a weightless worm. This is an area that I found while practicing
a couple of days prior to the tournament. And I know that Joe's
team caught their fish near a spot where I also caught fish during
practice. (a long point, with a steep dropoff, twitching a #11 Rapala).

Anyway, glad to hear that people managed to have a good time, even
    without catching lots of fish.

I'm going to start another topic on tournaments, not to set one
up, just to get peoples thoughts on what they'd like to see go on.
Lots of good ideas have come up during the preparations for this
one, and afterwards. We've got a great bunch of guys (and gals)
and it looks like we'll be able to keep these tournaments going
    with a good turnout.

Looking forward to seeing some of you again at the Worcester Expo,

    Don Mac

beautiful bird....its wingspan must have been 5'!
Hey Jeff...all I want to know is what you and Lorene were doing up on that
island behind the bushes!?! BTW...can Lorene be my partner in the next
tourney??
I swore after the first tourney that I'd NEVER fish Monomonac again! Now,
after the THIRD time, I'm convinced I don't want to fish it again, even
though we tied for 1st.
I going to give the NH F&G folks a call to find out more about the Merrimack
River. Maybe we could consider two launch sites, one in Nashua for NH folks
and one in Lowell for MA folks with some mid-way point for the final
weigh-in. It's worth considering and certainly far more productive waters
than Monomonac.
I agree with the others that I didn't get to match up names with faces as
much as I would have liked. I dunno 'bout name tags, but the noontime break
we had at last year's tourney certainly gave us more time to meet each
other. A few people (I won't mention names) didn't like the idea...they
figured they were out there to FISH...not to socialize. I see it as an
opportunity to do BOTH! Whadayathink?

That's right... The team of Don Mac and the Harbormaster caught
the bass that tied for 1st place. Don put me on the fish, I
hooked onto it, fought it though that grass to boat side, and
Don netted it into the boat and placed it in the livewell.
    That was a team effort.

As for luck... I didn't drive over two hours to get shut out when
I could have stayed home and caught more bass in 1/10 of the time
without leaving my dock in RI. My last keeper tipped the scales
at 6 - 14 a few weeks back, also on a rubber worm!

First and foremost I had a good time and meeting at least some of

The Hawk or Opsprey was without a doubt the highlight of the trip.

    made my day!!

The only question that I have was who was the guy at the end of
the day that had a fish but came to the tourney late!! I thought
the rest of the fisherman were going to throw him into the water.
    Well handled Don!
Well see you all later and give us all a break and let's go someplace

| | Glad I missed it!!! Only one fish. Hay does anyone remember what
last years winning weight was? I Think there are lots of fish on
this lake and this time of year it is at it's best.

Now I am not bragging or anything, but look at the lake, It's all
rocks and weeds and dropoffs. This lake requires many man hours
to find the fish. But the tricks that have work for us in the past
were to use those strange baits that are not atthe market.

last Year in that fall tournament I caught that 6.2lber on a
worm/gitzit combination. Now be honest, How many of you would use
something like that last year? Not to many, Thats the kind of
thing that is needed on a lake with not so many fish, lots of cover
and feed, which gets a good amount of fishing presure!!

Try to use your past experiences and think of new things! some
will work and some will not.

| 843.174 |  | VAX4::TOMAS | Joe | Tue Oct 04 1988 09:19 | 36 |
| | Hey, Bob, let's be honest for a moment. I don't think anyone can seriously
doubt your fishing abilities, but there were a number of fairly experienced
fisherman at this tourney. With 36 people fishing hard, working ALL the
various structure, including the deep drop-offs AND shallows, only 3 fish
were produced. I worked the standard baits such as worms, jigs, crankbaits,
gitzits, spinnerbaits and even topwater baits early in the AM. I then tried
some more unconventional baits and techniques such as your gizit/worm combo,
slow-rolling spinnerbaits down the drop-offs, and even tandom rigs such as a
Zara Spook with a small jig trailer and a Mann's 15+ with jig trailer.
Even the law of averages say that fish should be caught accidentally with
that many lines in the water. Math-wise, there were 36 people fishing for
8 hours...that's 288 man-hours of fishing! Divided by 3 fish equals 96 hours
of fishing per fish! Now THAT'S riduculous!
Sure, you caught 5 fish last year, but that was LAST YEAR! You know as well
as the next person that conditions on any given body of water can change
from hour to hour, let alone day-to-day, or even one year to the next. And
how do you explain the pitiful results of your spring tourney at Monomonac?
I wasn't there, but as I recall, NO ONE WEIGHED A LEGAL BASS!
I may not be a "pro," but I do consider myself a fairly accomplished
fisherman. I think winning a few tournaments this year bears that out. I
am convinced that Monomonac has SERIOUS problems. I'm not sure exactly what
the problems are, whether it's acid rain, over-fishing, or what, but there
is not an abundance of fish in that lake. Yeah, there are a **few** 5-6
pounders in there, but ONLY a few.
Again, I don't question your skills. I often seek your advice and listen
carefully to make myself a better fisherman. And you have every right to
brag about last year's tourney as you and Rick walked away from the rest of
us. But I do think that you should give credit when credit is due and also
realize that there are others out there that may be equally as accomplished
as you.

Someone said it earlier, Monomonac itself violates Rule # 1 ... HAVE FUN!
I don't think that I'll do another tourney there. I'd much rather invest in

Naw...I enjoy fishing tourneys with stiff competition, and Bob certainly
provides that. It only makes me concentrate and fish harder which
ultimately teaches me more. PLus, Bob is usually more than willing to share

Even when fishing against Bob and Rick and other good fisherman, I think
that EVERYONE has better than "half a chance." Yes, the winning way is

| | I get a kick out of these notes and have learned a lot, as have
others like HSJ and DonMac (I remember their early recollections
and subsequent success). I didn't fish in the tournament, nor do
I usually plan to fish in them, but one thing seemed a bit out of
character to me. A guy bails out of the tournament at the last minute,
then resurfaces a few days later to talk down to all the participants
and remind them that he caught fish a year ago, while conveniently
glossing over two "skunks" on the same lake. In sports this would
be regarded as "no class", but then I guess this isn't really sports.
In any event, I'd a hell of a lot rather be regarded as a good guy
first, and a good fisherman second than the other way around. Since
I got out of the golf business years ago (more fishin' time), I
try to stay away from competitive situations, 'cause they bring
out the worst in me. what I'm getting at is if you're good at
something, people will tell you or events will bear it out, but
if you have to keep asking for reinforcement, maybe you don't believe
    in yourself.
Sorry about the "soapbox", but the remarks just rubbed me the wrong
way, and I think if it's O.K. to gloat in these notes, it ought
to be O.K. to say "lighten up" too.

Hey Bob...whadaya talking about? First, you mentioned something about using
non-conventional types of baits, and now you blast me for using a real
unusual technique that was discussed in BassMasters mag as a technique that
sometimes works when all else fails? I don't get it.
I don't think that putting two baits on a single line is cheating or
unethical. In fact, it's a common saltwater practice to use teasers and even
in fresh water for salmon and trout. Why not bass?
If it had worked and **I** caught the bass instead of my partner, I'm sure
some folks would have said, "Gee...interesting idea...smart move!" Yes? No?
Anyways, Bob....I'm sorry that you didn't make it. I always enjoy getting

lures must be artificial. No one went to the extent of saying only one bait
per line. As I don't fish B.A.S.S. tourneys, I'm unfamiliar with all the
rules and regs.
I guess we might want to include that in our rules, huh? Afterall, what's
to prevent the next guy from stringing out a TROTLINE of artificials? It
IS only ONE line, right?

Make a map for every one where we put all the fish !!!!!

    Think this will work! :^)

| | Don't know who all is fishing this weekend at the fish off in Webster,
but good luck!!. I know Les and Bassin Bob are teamed up for one of
the two days. Now I want both of you to fish nice and don't fight!!!.
Yea Bob, I'll look for you at the ramp. I would like to put a name
to a face. Don't worry, you won't miss Les.....he has the face even
his own mother doesn't love. See you then.
