             YO, I guess they were a bit ripe still. Put em in the sun
    until all those white maggots are gone and try them again. No stale
    aftertaste! Add water, makes its own sauce!

| 819.15 | which smoker? | HPSTEK::DHAGGIS |  | Tue Aug 08 1989 08:42 | 11 |
| | I have shopped around and found there are three kinds of smokers, as
    far as the kind of heat is concern:

    	1. Charcoal.
    	2. Electric heat.
    	3. Propane gas.

    Which one works the best?

    Thanks

|  |        I use the charcoal Brinkman. They're usually $29 or $39 in the
    Bass Pro catalog. K-Mart has them sometimes too.

| | Best has good prices on smokers as well as the ones mentioned
    in -.1

    Something about electric and gas seems hokey, but then again the temp
    is easier to control.

    Brinkmans are great.
