Help in Maryland...
I'm new to the Baltimore area and, after leaving Upstate NY, I can't
find any suitable Trout/Bass locations. I'd rather avoid the bay
and this place is covered with Malls and Developments. Can anyone
help?

There are a number of good areas within a reasonable driving distance
of baltimore. The Shenandoah and Potomac rivers near Harper's Ferry
are good for smallmouth. The corps of engineers has a pamphlet
out on what they call the Baltimore district that lists lakes in
the Baltimore area. There is also former president James "call
me Jimmie" Carter's favorite trout stream up in the catoctin mountains.
Check around in the Baltimore field service group, if I remember
correctly there are a number of fishermen over there. BTW, if you
come north on 83 to just below York Pa. there are two lakes, Redman
and Williams that are good for Bass, crappies, panfish
