| | GO FOR THE MEDIUM ACTION. IT IS USUALLY GOOD FOR THE SIZE BASS
IN N.E. I RECENTLY SWITCHED TO ONE PIECE BLANKS WOULDN'T GO BACK
TO 2 PIECE AGAIN. BUT STORING IT CAN LIMIT IT TO 2 PIECE. THE
    SPIRAL
GRAPHITE IN BASS PRO IS GREAT. I RECENTLY CALL THEM AND A GOT A
5'6" GRAPHITE 96 NOT IN THE CATALOG ANY MORE. IT IS A GREAT ROD
GOING FOR ABOUT 39 BUCKS I GOT IT FOR $19. IF YOU CALL THEM THEY
CAN SOMETIMES LET YOU KNOW WHAT IS LEFT OVER FROM LAST YEAR. BAIT
CASTERS TAKE SOME GETTING USE TO. LINE SIZE, LURE WEIGHT, AND WIND
CONDITIONS ALL PLAY A PART ON SETTING UP THE CONTROLS TO MAKE THEM
    ENJOYABLE. GOOD LUCK

| | I remember when ZEBCO was a dirty word! I now have a Z-CO graphite
rod w/ a steel spinning reel (DIAWA). This is my favorite WORM'IN
rig. The lable on the rod is gone now, but it is 5'6" with five
ceramic guides and a black rubber handle. I dont think a BASS pole
should ever be a split blank type. I have been known to set my hooks
into some pretty big stumps, that I am sure would have broken a
2 piece. I carry my rods in my car (not the trunk). Put the biggest,
uglyest lure on it. Let em know your a BASSER!!! My Ex-wife called
    me a BASS-HOLE. I dont understand that ??????

This is a little off the track for this topic, but how many read in the 25th
anniversary issue of BASSMASTER that ZEBCO is short for the ZERO BOMB COMPANY?
It seems that at the end of WWII this company who was supplying bombs in
support of the war started looking for a new line of work...

Buy a one piece Graphite rod... You will never go back to two piece
    glass again.

I use Berkley Bionix rod. You can not get anything lighter and
stronger except the new series ones (two much money).
You can get a 5'6" or a 6' med heavy caster. The 5'6" should fit
    in your car trunk.

The best price I found is at Kmart for $49.99 I got mine last year
for 69.99. They come with a life time warrenty. I broke one
last year and sent it back two weeks later I recieved a brandeee
    new one in the mail.

To get a casting reel to go with it try the AMB 521 plus this is
the old xlt plus nice reel and light. Pro shop has them for about
$50.00 also. This is a supper bassin setup!! the real my also
    have a life time warrenty.
