    I heard today that there is a new ruling that prohibits comercial fishing
    on Georges Banks is this correct or is someone wishfull thinking.
    
    Or could it be some other banks that they were thinking of.

     Frank your thinking of the right Georges.. it was shutdown. I 
     thought it had opened again, But this morning I heard thay
     are prohibiting comercial fishing on Georges Banks again. Anybody
     know the real scoup on this issue???

    They were saying parts of Georges Bank would continue to be off limits
    for "a while longer" to give the haddock more time to finish there
    spawning. Sounded like many fishermen are coming back in to protest.
    GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD. LETS HOPE THEY STAY IN FOR THE SEASON.
