    Anyone care to give me some idea of typical prices one could expect to
    pay for Abu multipliers (or Baitcasters) in the Mass. area ?
    
    I'm thinking specifically of models like the 6500-C3 (or C3 2-speed).
    (I believe these reels to be among the best available for general shore
    fishing, distance casting, etc.)
    
    I expect to be visiting the US in a couple of weeks and am told
    such tackle is much cheaper there than this side of the Atlantic!
    
    (For what it's worth, an Abu 6500-C3 2-speed is priced at about �100
    in Ireland and the UK - with some slight variances or "specials" such
    as throwing in a free boat rod or spinning rod!!).
