| In this beasts stomach they found a 14 lb crappie,also a record...
upon further disection it was discovered that the crappie was filled
with bullsh*t.....................46 lbs ya.

yeah but the interesting thing will be what did he catch it on?? a 1/8
oz hair jig, 4 year old mono 4 foot light action and the old 202
zebco. sounds about right.

I called up BASS headquarters (boy they talk with a funny accent
8^) ! ), they informed me that the reporter doing the article
mis-identified the fish. They (BASS) are looking into what it
actually was. The person told me probably a Striper hybrid.
So the bottom line, George Perry's record still stands 22lbs & 4
ozs.

well the world record bass was caught in june of 1992, not once but
3 times in a matter of 4 hours.
but the record broken wasnt the weight it was the age! 24 yrs old!!
it weighed in at a wopping 6.?? lbs. and it was caught in a 100 acre
lake in new york state.
I wouldnt believe it either but I read it in the sports page last
night.

| Yesterday on a fishing show on TNN, they had a kid who caught a record
base. 12.6 lbs. Didn't get all the details.
