There doesn't seem to be a topic to discuss pros and cons of various
    makes of offshore fishing boats.

I've been looking at a 1983 Wellcraft 248 Sportsman which I would use
to go from Boston to Stellwagon, or maybe from the Southern Maine area
out to Jeffrey's ledge. Does anyone have any comments on this. Yes
I would rather have a Boston Whaler or Grady White but Wellcraft seems
to make a good boat and this one has decent fishing features.

| There is a good discussion in the BOATS notes file, I beleive it's in
    the offshore note.
