    Well, they caught up with me and I'm checking out of DEC. It s been
    a lot of fun over the past years fishing with you guys and both
    teaching and learning from you. I'm going to miss this, but I'll just
    have to hope that wherever I end up there are another great bunch of
    guys to swap lies with.
    
    So, best of luck to all of you and maybe we'll see each other again
    on some pond.
    
    Florida is looking better and better all the time.

    Say it ain't so, RR ! I always enjoyed reading your notes, and missed
    'em when you went pretty much "Read only." There may be a few others
    movin' on down the line before the smoke clears. Smith can only coast
    on his "They didn't have a plan for WW II" for so long before he gets
    his act together.
    
     Hope you got treated fair and square, and if you head South, there may
    be a 16 lber in your future.

Ron,

I'm real sorry to hear the news.  it's been great fishing with you over the 
years and I hope we can get together one of these days.  please make sure to 
keep us posted as to where you end up.

Since you're moving on, I think it would be a great idea if you can make the 
Centrum show next Friday for one last get together.  I sure hope you can 
make it.

    Ditto.  When this file started out (has it been almost 7 years!) you 
    were definitely one the major sources of info for those of us who
    barely knew what a baitcaster was.  I was just getting serious about
    fishing when you took me out on your Ranger and taught me a thing or
    two about plastic worm fishing.  Try and keep in touch.  You know you'll 
    always be welcome at the DEC tournies.  And if you wind up down south
    you can bet your boat some of us will try and wind up on your door step
    some late March morning.

    	Damn, we talked about this a few weeks back, I was hoping you'd be
    taking that vacation after your new assignment for Digital.  I don't
    know what to say, your a wealth of information, and as a person a class
    act.  Well I guess what will be will be, I hope you made out fairly well
    on whatever deal was negotiated.  Good Luck and I know I'll see you out

     I don't get involved in the admin. side of tourneys, but I hope that
    guys like RR get a lifetime pass to 'em - DEC or Ex-DEC. RR, you still
    gotta pay the entry fee, but to me, you'll always be one of the guys.

          I think that gos with out saying. DEC tourneys have "always"
      been a blast (my opinion) and have gone off with out a hitch.
      Do in part of the great bunch of anglers that have shown.
                                                               
          I also welcome Ex-Dec tourney anglers... to all future tourneys.

    What can I say...
    
    RR invented TBDW....He took me to buy my first fishin pole..Over the
    years I have learned many things from RR.
    
    - Buy the best..You only have to do it once.
    - Fish that thing so slow that you fell like your gonna fall asleep but
      pay attention
    - Honesty ...(He still lies about fishin)
    - woodworking
    - model rr
     
    I could go on and on 
    
    Ron is a great friend and I will keep up with him
