    I have recently installed a Dubro 3" wheel on my glider. The assembled
    glider has been setting all week on my basement work bench. There is
    a huge flat spot on the tire which does not allow the wheel to
    spin truly.

    Is this an anomaly specific to Dubro, or do all brands do this?

    Thanks,

    Jim

Jim - some do, some don't.
I always had to store my Aeromaster on little blocks to keep the tires
from holding the weight and deforming.
I have had more bad luck from foam tires than the hard rubber but
to some extent they all do it. Thanks for reminding me of this I
wanna put some blocks under landing tonight to avoid the problem.

| 1602.2 | Foam Wheels Will Flat Spot | LEDS::WATT | Mon May 23 1994 12:32 | 6 | |
| All of the foam tires will flat spot if left sitting under load. I
    never really noticed this with Dubro wheels though. Best bet is to not
    leave your model sitting on the tires, especially in a hot car.

| 1602.3 | Just pump it up | MINNY::MUELLERA | Mon May 23 1994 17:23 | 7 | |
| Try to pump the tire. It's easy. Puncture the tire with a needle and
    stick the tire into the deep freezer for some time (24 h). After taking
    out the tire seal the hole with some super-glue - and wait until the
    tire warms up. The cold air in it will warm up and the tire sould be
    inflated (due to the expansion of the trapped air).
